EXPLORE YOUR INNER WORLD THROUGH MUSIC

J S Kingfisher is the creator of Muzoracle: The Tarot of Music, a system of thirteen twelve-sided musical dice and 89 cards based on harmonies, instruments, and musical concepts. Kingfisher is now offering Muzoracle castings in his studio in the Apple Hill area east of Placerville, as well as at various locations in the Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Bay Areas.

The Muzoracle is unique in that it involves sonic archetypes – not only are there ideas and images associated with the cards and dice, but also actual music. Thus the heart is engaged as well as the head. Each casting generates its own set of musical variables, which Kingfisher intuitively interprets, both musically and otherwise; sessions are recorded and clients are provided with a CD (or emailed an mp3.)

Casting the Muzoracle is a creative experience, not a predictive one. Muzoracle castings do not tell the future nor provide direct answers; the point instead is to reach more articulate and sincere questions, which the client can then approach from a deep and quiet place within. Muzoracle sessions with Kingfisher begin with a short meditation, and are focused and relaxed; each casting utilizes the piano, samples of orchestral instruments, and quartz crystal bowls. The music the cards and dice inspire, even when dissonant, often provokes insights and has a healing effect.
