Following are a few places JSK likes to hang, in no particular order. Some of them are related to Jeff's work; others are interesting anyway, or just plain cool! Enjoy!
Art101.com. Andy Markley's home page. Andy is mentor to JSK in all things visual; he is the designer of this site and has been involved in just about every visual aspect of all of JSK's projects. Lots of great art, music, and video here, including the Jimmie Spheeris and Paul Delph Memorial Galleries.
Nan Geary. Poet, songwriter and vocalist extraordinaire.
Liquid Mind. Astoundingly effective relaxation music from synthesist Chuck Wild.
The Harmonic Series. Reginald Bain's introduction to the Harmonic Series. An excellent reference work that includes sound samples of just intervals.
Music Acoustics. An introduction to music acoustics from The University of South Wales another valuable reference work. Fnd out what makes a flute a flute.
The Saturnian Hexagon. Astounding discovery by the Cassini probe of a hexagonal polar vortex on Saturn! What could possibly make a current flow in such a way? This is most interesting from a Sacred Geometry/Muzoracle standpoint: the hexagon is deeply tied into Muzoracle and Muzundrum via the Harmonic Engine. It's also interesting from a mytho/astrological standpoint, as Saturn presides over order and structure. Juicy!
Matt Venuti and the Hang. Lovely video and music of "Yolanda Trail" featuring Matt Venuti on the hang, a magical swiss instrument similar to a steel drum.
The Harpejji. A 24 string tap instrument that plays like a keyboard and sounds like electric guitar/bass; a pianistic cousin to the Chapman Stick. JSK has one it's all over his upcoming record.
Coyote Network News. Visionary Activist/Astrologer Caroline Casey's "Compassionate Trickster Mythological News Service". Tune in.
Clara Rockmore. The Theremin who'd a thunk it? Prepare to be moved.
